"Steadidox "floating systems

Since 1975, we have been studying the effects of wind, wave, ice and fluctuating water levels on the coastline of Georgian Bay docking systems. We have developed what we believe to be a superior product in a floating dock system…

It involves the uses of heavy wall steel pipes, which are carefully fabricated into floatation pontoons for our docks .All steel surfaces are sandblasted and painted with specialized marine epoxy paint.

The sub-structure for the decking is usually a pressure treated 2"x 10" joist which is fastened to steel tabs on the pontoon by means of a 3/8" dia. plated bolt.

Cedar or pressure treated lumber is then screw nailed to the joists with supports every 24 inches.

2" x 8 " side skirts are fastened to the dock to prevent damage to your boat and are then fitted with "Dockedge" patented bumper moldings.

Your choice of cleats is installed before delivery!

These systems have a life expectancy of 25 to 30 years when installed by our crews.

We warrant the docks for a period of five years.

These docks are among the most stable floating docks available … in fact in most cases; people mistake them for a fixed system.

Fixed shore dock systems

Our shore deck systems are also fabricated with a steel understructure, which is drilled where practical into the bedrock with minimum 2 " dia. solid pins.

A steel framework is then fitted to the pins, which is intended to support the decking and the ramp systems to the floating dock where applicable.

We have tested these methods time and again in both commercial and residential applications for twenty-five years, and found them to have permanence, which is unparalleled!
